We cast real entertainers there and heard their stories (except when the wedding chapel lady wouldn't let us shoot her, the incredible Gigi Gorgeous stepped in to give a really moving performance as her instead ). When Adam asked me to direct the video, I suggested that we go to Las Vegas - the most lonely city in the world. After hearing #AnotherLonelyNight, I immediately thought of that night on Halloween with Adam years ago. When Adam said he was working with the legendary producer #MaxMartin on his new album, I was so excited for what they'd make together. They receive this *amazing* energy high on stage, but when the curtain comes down, there can be an incredible sense of alienation too. Since then, I've met a lot more entertainers, both famous and not, and most of them seem to have something in common. I knew his name was Adam though, so I thought the whole thing was really confusing and funny. Because it was Halloween, he kept saying 'no, I'm dressed up as Adam Lambert'. When we went out later that night, people were continuously coming up to him and asking if he was Adam Lambert. I had no idea who he was but he seemed pretty funny and sweet. Several years ago I went to a Halloween party with some friends in LA, and there was a guy I'd never met before named Adam. Luke has also collaborated with Maison Martin Margiela, Anjelica Huston, Proenza Schouler, Bryan Cranston and MS MR. The project received critical acclaim and led Luke to develop his ideas further for his first narrative film, Connected, starring Dree Hemingway and Pamela Anderson. Soon after, Luke directed a short film for Prada, The Future of Flesh, which featured Jane Fonda in its voice over.

Luke's first film project was directing David Lynch for a dreamlike short for Dom Perignon. It was a 4 year long photography project documenting his friend's gender transition that inspired Luke to start telling stories with films. Luke graduated from UCLA in 2008 and since then his photography and films have been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world - including MoMA in New York City and FOAM in Amsterdam.
